Progressive Beginner Gundog Classes Grades 2/3: Fridays

Our progressive beginner gundog training classes take place at Loxwood (Pond), West Sussex and are specifically for dogs that have completed the Puppy/Foundation classes with Jules.

You will already have competent clicker skills, a reliable retrieve pattern, have introduced recall and stop whistle cues, have good basic heel work on lead, and your dog will be able to work in a more stimulating environment.

Suitable for all gundog breeds who are working beyond a Grade 1 and are looking at developing skills required for the Gundog Club Grade 2 and Grade 3 levels.

These small group classes will teach your gundog the foundation behaviours including heel, recall, a reliable retrieve, steadiness, stop whistle, directions, and hunting.

You will also learn how to use reinforcement effectively, how to play with your dog and social walking.

This class is suitable for pet gundogs, working dogs and those who want to compete in working tests in the future.
